Join us on 15 October, for our Harpers' Gathering community social time from 4:00 to 5:00 pm, then enjoy an informal Guest Interview from 5:00 to 6:00 pm, with harpist Alessia Bianchi.
Alessia performs and teaches the music and playing techniques of the historical Gaelic harp of Ireland and Scotland. She also plays and teaches Celtic harp and European classical harp. Trained in Music Therapy, Alessia founded her 'Atelier of the body and mind' where she has led music therapy projects for children. Alessia is a regular staff tutor with the HHSI, and is teaching her third course in our Fundamentals of Playing the Early Irish Harp, for Acadamh na gCláirseach–Academy of Early Irish Harp online this autumn.
