- Anytime before your course begins, for a full fee credit for another Acadamh course in the same year (less a €10 processing fee)
The HHSI reserves the right to alter or change the course content or artists as may be necessary.
The Academy reserves the right to refuse admission to online Zoom sessions to ensure the safety of participants.
The Academy reserves the right to remove from online Zoom sessions persons who do not abide by the HHSI’s Code of Conduct (see below).
The HHSI will endeavour to plan and mitigate against technical failures during Acadamh programmes, of kinds that may reduce access to participants in Acadamh classes. However, we will not be liable if, for any reason, all or any part of any class, or recording therefore, is, or becomes, unavailable at any time.
Code of Conduct
During Academy programming, there will be opportunities for class participants and presenters to interact. To do so in a safe, and enjoyable, manner for everyone, it is important that all parties abide by the following terms:
While we do not expect instances of harassment or discrimination (including but not limited to gender, marital status, family status, age, disability, sexual orientation, race, religion or membership of the Traveller community), any contributions that may be considered threatening, derogatory, disruptive or abusive will be ended immediately, and the person responsible may be removed from the Zoom room.
Please make sure you are in a space that is appropriate for others to see. We also ask that all participants dress as if they are in an in-person setting.
Sounds and voices can be captured by your device’s microphone, and heard by others. N.B. Please mute your microphone unless asked by the presenter or event moderator to unmute.
Participants may hear and see anything within your audio range and camera-viewing area. Please make all household members aware of this, and consider how you will control any pets.
The still, audio or video recording of any class is forbidden.
Media Release
Live events will be recorded, and made available to ticket purchasers, on this website. By buying a course ticket, you consent to permit HHSI personnel to photograph or record your likeness, voice and/or activities for this purpose, as well as for archiving, and for future marketing. You will not receive any monetary compensation now or in the future for allowing such use, and you release and hold harmless Acadamh na gCláirseach–Academy of Early Irish Harp, The Historical Harp Society of Ireland, their officers, directors, staff, volunteers, and artists from any and all claims arising from such use. If you do not agree to the media release, you agree to keep your microphone muted and your video off when recording is in progress.
By purchasing an Academy course ticket, you verify that you have read, understood, and agree to all of the above terms and conditions.
