Kilkenny is a medieval city which has a rich heritage of fine historical buildings, a great choice of restaurants, wonderful shops, lively night-life, and is an all-year-round tourist destination. Within 90 minutes of Dublin airport, the city is serviced with an intercity bus service and rail link. The nearest ferry port is Rosslare. VENUES
Scoil na gCláirseach–Festival of Early Irish Harp is spread over two venues in Kilkenny city:
Daytime workshops and tuition will be at Coláiste Pobail Osraí, 6-7 Ormonde Rd, Kilkenny. The coláiste is situated behind the Ormonde College buildings; the entrance is through the car park.
