COLÁISTE POBAIL OSRAÍ EVENTS

The Harp Makers’ Exhibition on Saturday is FREE admission.

Workshops are charged individually at the door (€15).  Pre-booking is essential for the Beginners’ workshop at 3.30 on Wednesday, 14 August.


FESTIVAL PACKAGE FOR PLAYERS

Scoil na gCláirseach offers an all-day immersive programme for children to adults who would like to play the harp. We cater for absolute beginners to professional performers. Festival full participants enjoy days of intensive classes, interactive listening sessions, workshops, individual tuition, peer-performance sessions as well as being able to attend public lectures on three of the festival evenings. Fees: €425 [€395 for HHSI members. Join the Society here]
Under 16s receive a €100 reduction on their fees.

Evening talks (free admission) and concert tickets need to be booked separately, above.

To secure your festival place, and to book your preferred tuition options, please send your €100 deposit to the HHSI as soon as possible.

N.B. Scoil participant fees do not include the field trip, lunches or harp rental which are all optional (see below). And new in 2019, Scoil participant fees do not include concert tickets. Evening concerts need to be booked separately, above.

Field trip: €45   [Coach to Dublin only: €20; Museums only: €25]

Lunches: €14 per day
(Thursday 14th through to Monday 19th August 2019 inclusive)
Lunch for Scoil participants is served at Coláiste Pobail Osraí. Scoil participants are welcome to bring their own lunch instead, or to go out for lunch. Lunches are prepared freshly by our in-house chef, and therefore need to be booked, and paid for, in advance. You can have as many or as few lunches as you wish, as long as you book the specific days you want lunch, in advance.

Harp rental: €60 for the festival duration
A limited number of rental harps is available for Scoil participants, and must be booked and paid for in advance. A refundable €50 cash deposit is also required.
